Located at 7225 E 9 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48091, Hook Market Fish & Chicken and seafood operates as a seafood restaurant serving Warren in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Fish & Chicken – Great Catfish, No Frills I’ve been to quite a few fried fish spots around the area, usually grabbing something while I’m out working. Fried catfish with lemon pepper is my go-to, so I’ve tried a lot of places. First off, I’m not going to judge the look of the place — most fried fish spots aren’t exactly known for their interior design, and that’s not really why you’re there anyway. What matters is the food, and the catfish here was phenomenal. The fish was fresh, perfectly fried, and the lemon pepper seasoning was spot-on. I had actually stopped at two other fried fish places the previous two days, and this one was noticeably better. The catfish was packed with flavor and cooked exactly how it should be — crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The guy running the place was also very nice and professional, which always makes the experience better. If you’re looking for solid fried catfish, this place is definitely worth checking out.

The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Made to order he said 20 minutes but it was done faster than that. We ordered 2 wing plates, 2 fried shrimp plates, and 2 drinks for about $63. Not bad for seafood and chicken wings in this economy. The owner and his adorable son were so nice. When they serve you that chicken in an aluminum tin with foil over top and hot sauce on the side, you know it’s a proper hood spot with great food. Get the jumbo shrimp for the extra $1 bc the regular ones were a tad small but that might just be me being greedy lol. Ate the other half of my food 3 hours later and the wings were still crispy. Definitely get the lemon pepper dust on whatever you order and the blue koolaid is so good nice and sweet with a little tart. Served with all the condiments without having to ask most restaurants are stingy with it.

This place was so good. I just moved to Michigan and haven’t had the best food since I’ve arrived. The two men working at this store told me to look up the reviews. I love how they didn’t pressure me to buy anything, they just let me decide for myself. They were all smiles from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out. I will definitely be back!!!

This place used to be Mike's chicken. I haven't been there in a couple of years. 2 weeks ago, I decided to stop by this restaurant, which I thought it was Mike's chicken. I was looking at the menu and realized it had a whole new name called Hooks chicken. So as the new owner was speaking to me. I decided to continue with my order. I'm not going to lie! That fired chicken , shrimp, and onion rings were the bomb. I already had been back for a second time.
